Oldnavy,

Where on I-55 did you find ULSD? I am in blytheville right now on buisness, and will soon be traveling back across country to New jersey. And also, where around here have you seen a station with Bio-D? been wanting to try 100% for awhile. Kinda want to see if i can get my libby to smell like fries!

You could take the US 61 North exit off of I-55 about 15 (?) miles south of Sikeston, if there is one, and would save you a lot of extra driving.

Just a bump for Oldscratch.

If they haven't started purging their tanks, I would be surprised. As mention above it will take several fills to dilute the old with the new to meet October's spec. Unless this supplier turn over un-godly amounts of fuel! Bio Diesel doesn't have sulfur so many plan to purge this way to meet the deadline.

I've been running what I think is ULSD now for 3 days - it makes a big difference in noise level, power, smoothness and overall exhaust odor. Exhaust is pretty clean. You definitely notice the difference when the sulfur level gets low enough. I'm going to add some PS and B20 to see what happens.

Same, there is a Chevron nearby my house that has had ULSD for about six weeks. First tank in and I noticed the CRD was a lot quieter and smoother, but when I step down hard, I still see a small soot cloud behind me.

I just noticed with my last fill-up with BP Power-blend premium Diesel that the noise level has dropped off a lot and it seems to run much smoother. I gave it the goose the other night when the wife was behind me and I still saw a nice cloud in her headlights :D

Will I finally found some bonified ULSD at one of my regular diesel suppliers. Hadn't been there for awhile, last time they just had the LSD stickers on the pumps, today they both were Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel. Brand is Amoco.......the premier that I got was $2.859/gl.,, still too darn much in my book, but hey what can ya do?????? haha.

P.S. forgot, I just installed a set of sylvania silver star headlamp bulbs,,, forgot how white the light is these things put out. Going a 200mi. trip today, can't wait to see how they work tonight. Maybe I will spring for the fogs too??

nice! Hopefully see them around here pretty soon. All the pumps still say LSD, but with the way my CRD is runnning since the last fill....I think we have ULSD here too...stations just aren't going to switch the sticker until that last minute to avoid any possible liability issues.

I came across a pump back in June which was stickered ULSD - a week later it had been edited to LSD. OOOPs!

I believe we'll all be seeing ULSD in about 3 weeks - October 15th isn't it? Really looking forward to it...

every distributer in the southeast has been shipping ULSD for the last three weeks up to the last two months. In fact if you are looking for LSD for offroad )farm stiuff) it is becoming quite difficult to find.

Well I thought I had found gold with the ULSD premier, today I stopped to top it off with some B20 when I see they (BP station) have switched to ULSD. What more could you ask for, ULSD B20, kind of like the best of both worlds, execpt their over pricing of $3.129/gl.!!! :):)

I'm not entirely convinced that it was ULSD though...

I still threw out a nice soot cloud.

Filled the wife's CRD yesterday and splashed fuel on my hand and pants I was PO'ed knowing I was going to stink all the way home. I got in the jeep and was headed home when I realized I wasn't smelling diesel. I sniffed my hand and could just barely smeel the stuff, guess someone was right in there is little if any smell. Truck is not smoking either even with failed EGR. (See EGR thread) But the truck is running fine, quite and real peppy. I filled up at a Wal- Mart where I normally get gas for te Magnum and not my usual MFA station where I buy B2 fuel. It was still at $2.59, while W-M was at $2.33, I just could not see the difference in price and got the cheap stuff and supprise it is ULSD.
