So i know theres a thread out the about this somewhere in the far corners of this site, but here we go. I'm trying to decide on what kind of lift to get. Its a toss up between the frankenlift or the Rockfather lift. Any help would be great. need this lift for new tires so the ladies dont confuse me of being a soccer mom.

Go with the frankenlift....you won't be disapointed.

I will second the Frankenlift. I have used mine on two different KJ's and it is driven hard and often and keeps coming back for more.

You should look at Rusty's! A great lift, especially for the price.

I agree with Joe, Awesome lift and the price is right!

Some things to consider here, Before anyone gets there panties in a bunch, this is just Mike's opinion, OK Good.

From what i have read on here this is what i have gathered over time...

If you put the rustys lift on with no additions, i.e clevis lift, strut plates, etc., you will need no further mods to keep things running like normal. I have their lift but also a few additions which puts me at the same height as the Franken for a lot cheaper. But i also had to purchase a set of Al's a-arms because I was getting contact on the spring from the factory arms becauseof the amount of lift and droop i incured. This was something that i knew and didnt mind spending the extra on.

If you go with the Franken... It has awesome reviews from alot of people, just like rustys, but a lot of people also have had issues with putting the lift on, i.e. severe cv angles and again the spring a-arm contact. Now not everyone on here has had this put it is a possibility. Keep inmind it is already and expensive lift and you MAY need to dump in some more moeny to make this work for you. The cv angles supposedly go away over time as the lift settles but some people say that takes months. So in those months of you waiting for some settlement will you ruin some cv boots and what not, no but maybe yes.

I have no experience with the Rock-Father and have not read really anything on here about it so no words on that one.

Once again this is jsut my opinion and not bashing anything here just trying to give a fellow KJer some advice on de-soccer omming the rig and the potential for even more money to be spent on lifting the liberty depending on which route you take.

Another vote for the Frankenlift. Love mine. I don't have any spring contact or CV issues that I can see either.
