What's the zipcode of the spot, let me map it, but I guess it is about 2-3 hrs drive from the city..

not sure of the zip but it should be on thier web site & it says 50 miles from the city I know it took me just about 4 hrs from my house in MA. but well worth the trip for me

If you can't find Bear Mt, NY on a map finder, try Cold Spring, NY - only about 10 minutes difference. Or Indian Point Nuke plant.

LAT/LONG for the bridge is N41 19.199 W73 59.327 from there it's a quick ride up to the tower we we meet.
Perkin's Tower - N41 18.700 W74 00.400

Better yet email me ure addr and I'll use my GPS Mapping program and give you exact directions - better than MapQuest for sure.

we are in sunnyside, but most likely I will be coming from Mineola that morning, if I can wake my uncle up, I'll drag him as well.
So far we've got 4 in queens/western long island. If any more , that might be a good suggestion.

we will start from sunnyside if my uncle won't come with us. If he comes, we will be starting from mineola. In both cases, we will use whitestone or throgs neck.
I know there are great scenic spots on palisades, north-bound, i want to leave a bit early and take advantage of this.

There's an ezPass center right near the Whitestone; Walk-in, walk-out w/a Pass.

I know how to get there, from queens (like 10 different ways too) so anyone from coming in from queens, we can meet up somehwere (Im thinking starbucks In northern blvd, right w/ the micheals and duane read in LIC)

or wherever else you might think thats more accessible.
