I am going to put a 2 1/2 " lift on my 2006 Renegade I was thinking of the Rustys lift and 265 R 75 16 tires will this work ok with my auto trans. I am buliding to replace my TJ as my tow vehicle. Also any tow bar information would help me.

Thanks Tim

You probably have to do fender trimming and it will be a dog getting up to speed. I think with 245/75/16 on mine is so slow. When you go into high speeds it will shift out of overdrive a lot. Im thinking of getting 4.10 gears to compensate for the power loss. I have rustys lift you might want to put his front spacers and front strut plate while installing it.

I beleive it is all a matter of personal preference. 05JeepKJ says his feels A LOT slower with the 245/75s. I have the rustys lift and the same size MTRs and there is a slight difference but to me not much at all. As far as those size tires go that you want, you will need to do a lot of trimming up under there!

I'm currently running 265/75R16s. After you do some trimming you'll be fine, but acceleration and top speed will take a hit. I need to regear to 4.10 because right now my top speed is 80mph down hill.
