Is the Moog lower ball joint part number K-3199 greasable the correct one to use in a 2006 liberty sport? I was planning on buying the greasable joints myself and have the dealer install them. I'm then going to send the bill for the joints and the dealer labor to DC. If they payup, fine, if not at least I will have a safe liberty. I have not recieved a notice yet and my vin. is listed.

I never received a notice I simply checked the website and took it in for the recall. You can try calling up DC and tell them you installed moogs about a week ago without knowing about a recall on the LBJ and all they will say is submit the bill and we’ll go from their. But I agree they will more than likely not pay up, worth a try. I would love to get some grease-able UBJ and LBJ.
