If you get the factory-installed towing package, is the suspension upgraded in any way? My factory drawbar and cooling package were installed by the dealership, so my Liberty Sport didn't come with the factory-installed package.

When I tow a trailer with my dirtbikes on it, the rear of my Liberty sags quite a bit. Does anyone know where I could find helper springs? Or does anyone have any other solution?

Speriorelic from the mid-atlantic tows a camper so this was his fix. I don't know if he has had a chance to tow the camper since these were put on.

I got em in the front spring of my RV, they do work. Look's like the way to go. When I went to replace them on the rv, one guy told me that some people raise the vehicle off the wheels and fold the air bag up & thread it thru the spring, I wouldnt do it that way because I think it would damage the ab, since you have to drill the top for the air hose on this install, it probably wouldn't work. Ha Ha I said air bag

one thing to make sure of is that your trailer is loaded properly and doesn't have too much tongue weight. I tow a 1974 venture pop up camper (old all steel and wood) I do not want to know what it weighs

Anyway, it is pretty balanced front to rear, and it does not cause my rear to sag, with my old springs, but I do not know how my new Skyjackers will handle it.

I have the rough country lift. The firestone air bags(helper springs) I have fit the bigger springs. If you don't have a lift, then you would need a different air bag. I just hooked up the trailer tonight. Not one bit of sag,, still looks lifted,, and the air bags makes the lift even bigger. The libby doesn't rock, front to back, like a boat anymore,,, and the ride is much better.

I have a Rusty suspension lift and do sag a little with my camper. However, when I am fully loaded for a long trip with the camper filled with water and wood, I really sag. It's not as bad as the stock suspension, but almost bottoms out the lifted suspension. I may consider the helper air bags.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like the airbags are the way to go! Only problem is I'm not lifted now, but am looking to add 2" or 2.5" sometime, so I'd have to get new airbags then. Ah well.
