which lift kit, between all Old Man Emu, Rusty's or the Frankenlift, provides the KJ with the most suspension travel (i.e. articulation)?

And how much is that travel compared to stock?

Thanks,

Jeff, looking into maybe buying a KJ, but not quite sure as of yet ...

Jeff,

This is assuming that the sway bars are not attached.

Stock front = lifted front = 8.25"(207mm)l
Stock rear = 7.875" (200mm)
Lifted rear = 9.25" (235mm)

Current limiting factors on the travel in the front is due to: cv shafts and upper control arm contact with the spring.

Rob

Probably the Frankenlift. Has the longest shocks in the rear, and in the front it has a different top plate that squeezes an extra inch or so of droop.

Thanks folks,

another question, does anybody know why the Old Man Emu option is no longer available with the Frankenlift?

Jeff

OME front shocks will let the suspension flex purty good. Rancho rear shocks flex really good. Thats what the franken lift comes with.

the OME no longer available is listed on their web site. I emailed to ask why out of curiosity.

I couldn't find any info on sway bar disconnects, who makes them?

4X4 Rock Shop has the discos for the front, free shipping, less than MSRP by about $20.
