I have got to the point where I need input on what type of front suspension people are most likely to want I have a few ideas already, looking style similar to the early broncos with the ability to run dual shocks, or running adjustable coilovers. The only bad thing about coilovers is the cost, since I am hoping to put this in production I have to go for the widest range of kj owners, also the possibility of having one setup able to have a standard coil or an adjustable in the same upper and lower mount. Let me know what everyone would most like to see avaliable.

I dont think we need dual shocks, at least I wouldnt go for that myself, adjustable coil overs as an option would be nice

I am trying to get as many opinions as possible because what good is it to develop something that only 2 or 3 people can use this has to be something that a majority of liberty owners will want for there vehicle, and that wont cost an arm and a leg, we are designing this out of our garage. and we also have a buddy who works for a steel place so we can keep costs low

Adjustable coil overs, fabbed steel diff housing w/ high angle CV axles, high angle ball joints, fabbed steel lower control arms, tubular uppers, etc, etc.....huh...wha? Dang, that was a nice dream......but good thing I woke up as my wallet was on fire. :?

Anything is possible given an unlimited budget.
(Though I have decided aginst sfa-ing my KJ) I still think, given the expense involved in a real trick IFS setup that will survive abuse, that going SFA is an overall better idea. I would still love to see a long travel, pre-runner style suspension under a KJ so it can go run Jeep Speed events.

well at this point I havent had to put any money out for the lift just using friends that have the skills and one of them has a grandfather that owns a steel buisness so we might be able to keep the cost down with that also, that and the fact I dont have to rent a building to use for a shop

Heard someplace that DC had a real nice offroad suspension designed for the Liberty, but went with this setup because it was a little cheaper and they were worried about their price point in the market. The early Broncos were a coil SFA suspension weren't they?
