I just bought my 3rd Liberty (I like Liberty's) and having some problems. The rig is a 06 Renne, 3.7, auto, 4x4, off-road pkg., trailer towing pkg., so far about 1100 miles. 1st, transmission shifts rough/noisey, the 2nd problem is a 'miss' in the motor when the AC is on and going uphill (or pulling under load). This only happens when the AC is ON. Have taken back to dealer but they found nothing wrong.

Has anyone had to deal with these problems?

A/C is normal. Thats just the clutch kicking in..

Not to sure about the rough shifting. Youve got 3 years to figure that out.. I would say its normal though.. As long as its nothing severe..

that sounds kinda funny... like saying "it's good, unless it's bad". Sorry couldn't leave this alone :D .

There have been some recent recalls regarding the tranny..or at least for the 07s from what i saw recently, not sure if your 06 might fit under it's notice though..wouldn't hurt to look into it though...
