Tonight all the regional members and I met. I’m pleased to announce we have put the final chapter of the clubs board of directors to bed. Tonight we voted on the Chairman of the board. I'm proud to announce I was voted unanimously as the new Director of the Mid-Atlantic

The meeting was attended by:
Eggwhite93
Prell3
uvalex236
W3CSX
Guyute1210
Mjfoto

Other topics where discussed in tonight’s meeting. Eggwhite93 will take over the sticker project. He is re-ordering some from pixeldzn now. They will be available in both white and black. Contact him if you want to place an order. They sell for $5.00 each or $9.00 for two.

Plans for fixing the Mid-Atlantic’s web site are underway. Mjfoto is heading up this project. He is looking into what is wrong and how to get it fixed. We are looking at moving the site to his server. He will contact Talon1 and see what needs to happen there.

Lastly we discussed plans to provide protection to the club and its members. I will be drawing up a General Liability Waver. This will be a document signed by anyone out on a club ride. Some of the other chapters of Lost KJ’s already use them. This will keep anyone form suing Mid-Atlantic Lost or any of its members should they (heaven forbid) damage their Jeep or themselves out on a club run.

Thanks to everyone who made the meeting. An thanks everyone for your patients while we made preparations for the new leadership. This club belongs to all of us. Let’s make it the best local chapter of LOST KJ’s. If anyone needs anything my door is open please just let me know.

Jason

Hey Jason, I have a liability release that we used to use. Pm me with your e-mail and I can send it to. You could at least use it as a starting point for a new one.

just and FYI...

I have a pretty big web server that can be used to host the domain and page if you want. I can set up FTP accounts for whoever will be administering it. I can create email accounts if needed, etc... Let me know if you guys want to use it.

To see it's speed or whatever, check out http://jeep.allgris.com or http://www.scrantoncooperage.com. Both are hosted on my server.

The director was chosen by the state reps. and we have decided that all the state reps will be the assistants.

We took volunteers for state reps and if there was more than one person that wanted the same state we had a public vote for those positions. We felt that as reps we were able to determine on our own as a representative from our state who would be our overall director. If you have a problem with that you are more than welcome to voice your concern.
