I'm not happy with the angle of my factory set headlights. They seem too low. Is it a simple proceedure to adjust them a little higher? Thanks

Hey no one answered you on this...yes very easy. There is only one adjustment screw on the lib and it's for up and down. I pulled ours up to the barn wall about 15/20 feet away (I think the book says 25 feet) and watched the cutoff line with the low beams. Adjusted them up a turn or two and drove off to check them out. You should be able to see them lift when you turn the screws. Just don't turn them up too high or everyone will be beaming you.

Yeah, the low-beam cutoff on most vehicles in the U.S. is poor to say the least. If I could figure out a way to get them I'd replace mine with some headlights from a Euro-spec KJ (from a country that drives on the right - Germany etc.). Heck, if I could figure a way to do it I'd get a couple of Hella replacement units and use them; better cut-offs and they use H4 bulbs.

Where is the location of this screw. I was recently involved in a fender bender which resulted in my grille and right headlamp being replaced. Since then I have not been happy with the way the lights shine - we drive on the right-hand side so it affects the driver directly. I am sure the panel beaters did not set the headlamp correctly.

I had to adjust mine after the lift. It lifted the rear more than the front. Now the rear settled and I can see for miles! Sorry if I blind anyone..

The screw is set vertically behind the bulb inside a hole. Just put your head over the bulb and look down. There will be a 1 inch hole and inside the hole is a screw.

I've wondered about that too. My alignment seems good the way it is, side ways wise, but it seems odd that there's no adjustment. I guess it just isn't needed.

Having Rusty's lift on mine nearly leveled the jeep front to rear, tilting my light beams too far upward. Actually had to turn them down about 1/2 rotation to make them less blinding to oncoming traffic.

I was looking around for this screw last week but didn't see it. Do you have to remove the grill or anything, or is the screw in plain sight? I noticed you have an '05 KJ, so maybe mine is different ('03).

No disassembly required. Just pop the hood, get your head positioned directly over the headlight, and look down. You should see a hole and inside the hole a screw should be visible. That's for my 05, not sure about an 03. Good luck!
