Would anyone be nice enough to take pics of how there rock rails are mounted to the frame/pinch seam?

I've searched the forums/web all night and can't find a thing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i did look around the site, not quite the photos i'm looking for.

Looking for where the bars mount to the frame and pinch seem. i know numerous companies have used different designs and i'd like to see what they look like from the side of things that people dont typically see.

Here are my installation instructions if that gives you any idea.
http://www.rocklizardfabrications.com/instructions.htm

Also, here are some pictures from my XJ Skink Slider page. Pretty much the exact same thing on the KJ, except the KJ uses 3/8" self tappers instead of 7/16" through bolts.

From the light reading i did i beleive what is going to the frame in that picture are actually self taping bolts.

Thats what I thought too, but if you look at some of those pics of those rails on that cherokee or grand, the bolts are coming from the back side with a nut on them? :?

By the looks of it, it pretty much has two mouting areas. One is to the inside with the frame, and the rest are the pinch weld, where the cabin welds onto the floor pan.

Although, I used grade 8 3/8" through bolts instead of the self tappers for my installation. I can take a picture if you want.

If you can get a picture of that, that'd be great, i plan on using through bolts on the frame for my own peace of mind.

How hard was it to get through the frame?

I made my own exactly like the ones rough country has. They're made from
out of 2" reciever steel. Everything is bolted up with self tappers. The only
difference between mine and theirs is that mine are pinned together
so you can take them off. All the supports stay on but the outer rails
slide out.
No I don't have any pics but if your going to Paragon Sunday I'll be there.

I slipped the bolts up into unibody through pre existing cutouts and then from inside fed them through the holes with a grabber tool. On the outside, I wrapped each bolt stud with an elastic band to stop them from falling back through when I put the rails in place. I also cut and drilled plate steel shims so the rails mounts would sit flush against the unibody. Just make sure you drill these holes one size larger than the bolt size or you'll never get the bolts through. Below are pictures of how I mounted the unibody mounts on the right hand side:

Hey Unixx. Do you remember how thick those shims had to be?

I believe they're 1/8" thick, but I'm away from home right now and can't measure them. I'll verify thickness for you when I get back on Wednesday.
