I think it depends on which spings your refering to (Light, Medium or Heavy Duty), and who you ask. The Light Duty will give you less then the Heavy Duty. From what I've gathered people have said between 1.5 - 2.5 in of lift.

I have the HD's in front. I think they gave me a little over 2". I also have a 1/4" clevis lift which probably gave me about 1/3" more for a total settled lift of 2 1/2". I don't know how the Med Duty springs compare to the stocks for ride, but the HD's are only slightly stiffer than stock, which I like. The rear OME MD's are hanging in there at 2 1/2" too.

bigmd, you failed to mention wether you have a petrol or diesel KJ. Also a list of mods/products helps as the more weight you have on your car, they less its going to lift.

Front coils in KJ's have been as issue since the car was released, its alot of trial and error. All I can say is go with the heaviest OME's you can get and then re assess from there.

Rear OME KJ coils have never been an issue, its always the fronts.

I have the Heavy Duty OME and I cant say enough good things about them. I like the ride, the way it handles etc. You cant go wrong with them. Make sure you replace the struts also

I don't think Rancho makes a strut for a lifted KJ. Old Man Emu (www.rustysoffroad.com) and maybe Skyjacker do.

I'm looking at buying these.

Here are the prices that I've found so far:

Central 4 Wheel Drive - 111.98 pair (Free Shipping)

Seattle Discount Parts - 150.00 pair (Free Shipping)

Summt Racing - 162.78 pair

All J Products - 170 pair

Hope this helps.

Ervin

This is the link to rsx17xxx struts & shocks.

http://www.central4wd.com/inventorydeta ... der%7C5310

I'm guessing that they send you the correct one because as you check out you fill in your vehicle information.

If link does not work on the home page select: Suspension & Lift Kits
Then on this page select: Rancho Shocks
Then on this page select: Rancho RSX Shocks (each)

Then as I said above when you check out you have to fill in your vehicle information.
