Yes it was. We had to turn around because the trail got TOO muddy. Not even Jason could get through it. We tried to backtrack and Mike being at the tail end of the group got a little confused and tried to take the hill. When he tried to back out, he got a little hung up.

I didnt make it up that hill in the mud and I was locked on MTR's awhile back.

Tsk tsk-How'd you lose Mike? Why wasnt there someone with a radio tail gunning? And who let Mike out of their rear view mirror? Ah! Now I see the purpose of that waiver!

I should say that Mike was now in front when we turned around.

Here are my shots of the day.

Sharon creeps her way down Turtle,

Dave show a little flex at the play area. While Kim questions her husband’s sanity.

All the others can be seen by Clicking Here.

I for one had a fun time. I have to thank Shorebird for leading the run. Joe Jeeper for setting up the raffle prizes. Prell3 for the heart attack. And everyone else for a huge turnout.

Taking it easy this time. We had a chance to see some new faces out on the trails Chris, Frank, Jim and Dave. I think you all did great on your first time out with us. How did you guys like the experience? Hopefully we can ride with you all again. Chris and Frank, if we moved you to look at lifts a little closer. I guess we did are best to give you the "Jeep Bug". You can thank us (or cuss us) later. Just let us know, we would be happy to throw a lift party for you.

That hill is not officially on "Boy Scout", but at the end of the un-named trail I took to get around for the planned strapping. I helped cut the new Boy Scout with DeJa and Kyle from Paragon. "Boy Scout" was supposed to be a nice stocker trail before the mud pits showed up. Thank's to all who showed up.

That would be the same hill. But you know what the main difference is? I made it to the top

Hey Jason if you look at that one picture of me coming down Turtle kinda twisted up,
kinda looks like I have rear wheel steering. Do you think the spring was broken then?
Anyway Thanks to all for a great time. I did a little less damage than I thought and a
little more than I would have wanted to and after sometime on The Ranger Station website
new 5 leaf Explorer springs are ordered and on the way.
Thanks again and Thanks for hanging in nursing me back home.
Dave
PS
Ratchet strap is still on and holding.

Well I for one had a blast! Havnt had the chance to go out to the self serve car wash yet and am still getting the "WHAT THE F*%? DID U DO TO YOUR TRUCK" questions. No more soccermom mobile statis for me at work. A stock libbie RULES, but a lifted Libbie is BETTER! Jason, thanx for making the "jeep bug" an incurable disese. The doctor says the hole in my wallet will only get bigger. Mike, thanx for letting me realize I will be in your shoes one day. Joe thanx for the tow hooks. my door prize will be put to good use as my passenger Tony has decided that he wants to bring his YJ next time we go out on the trails (he's already bugging me about skid plates) And thanx to every one else that was there. I HAD A BLAST! And look foward to the next time we go out to the trail head.

The lift is in the planning stages.
