I need to replace my brakes. Has anyone upgraded their brakes and rotors? What parts did you use?

I have been looking at Hawk brake pads for the front and slotted & drilled rotors off of e-bay. Any other suggestions?

I do a lot of towing so I need good braking power.

I just asked this question a few days ago (see "lets chat about brakes and rotors) awhile back Clint told me that a few KJ owners upgraded to POWERSLOT Rotors and EBC Green brake pads (its the 6000 series) I've ordered mine and am expecting them in the next week or so. I hpoe this helps. I've also read that the HAWK break pads work really well also.

The Powerslot/EBC combo sounds good, especially for towing.
Stay away from ebay unless you know the source is top quality, you don't want cheap brakes parts trying to slow down your Libery and cargo in tow. Many inexpensive Brembo slotted/drilled rotors are actually just Brembo blanks that a shop has machined and most are not drilled properly and and often crack. That's not a chance I'm willing to take.

Lots of factory options, a couple of aftermarket things,
a big ol'car seat in the middle.
