I was doing some work so I left it disconnected from the negative post. Will there be any surprises in the morning? :?:

Thanks guys. Battery had some corrosion on it, but I decided not to clean them until next oil change.
I am installing new radio, and some cables are sticking out so I didn't want anything short-circuit.

Thanks again.

Glad to hear you're getting around to the install, hyedipin! I remember when you were looking for pics of aftermarket installs in the electronics forum. I just did my JVC KD-AVX2 install with the iPod adapter yesterday! I'll post pics soon. Make sure to post pics when you're finished!

...and now, back to the thread topic!

Don't touch the throttle when you first start it. A lot of vehicles recalibrate the throttle position sensor after a computer reset. If you are touching the throttle it may calibrate it with an incorrect value.

During installation? :( I didn't take any.
I will take a picture of what the back of the unit looks like when I get my damaged antenna adapter replaced.

the final pic is here http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/vie ... 1&start=15

I was hyped up about the cables and them not working.. I thought I screwed up big time... to be honest didn't want to document my failure...
after I fixed it, it was too late..
