I have a 2005 Liberty Sport 3.7 (wifes SUV 9K miles a year) and a 2001 Golf TDI (30+K miles a year). I am looking for another Libety but a CRD for me. I always thought if you go diesel you should tow or do alot of miles to make it worth it. Especially now that they are charging so much for diesel. The biggest problems I have seen in TDI's were people were babeing them too much. What I would like to ask is what year should I look for and is there anything I should know / look for? Thank you. Or should I save money and wait for the next Gen?

Any info would help.

I'd get one as new as possible. The 06's seem to have more bugs worked out and have a few more features like traction control and stuff some of the '05's didnt. I love my '06
