Well I think I have pretty much decided that I will be getting a KJ in the next few months. I am not sure on what year yet but I like the older front ends better. If I get a newer one how easy would it be to swap the front end to the older style? Is it just the grille, bumper, flares and hood or is there more involved to do it?

You would probably need to change out the plastic frame for the headlights and grill. Not to sure about that.. But since the foglights are in the a different spot, im sure that would matter.. Also, not to sure how hard it would be to get the old style fog lamps to work. There isnt a access door in the fender well. :?

No, the fenders are different. There is a space on the 05-06 fenders where the turn signals go.
