got the OME med. duty springs with rancho struts and OME shocks
we neted 2+ inches over where we were pre lift wich tells me it had some mega spring sag
the wife was all about NO LIFT but after she saw how bad it was riding even compaired to my TJ she gave in
this is the result

this pic shows the new found fender gap ,5" worth, wich I like I can pass that 2X4 all the way around with an inch to spare

it will probably settle some. I think I ended up with arond 1.5" of lift after it was all said and done with the medium duty springs. it shouldnt settle more than .25-.5in though.

I've been thinking about the same setup, but have been debating between the Medium Duty Springs, and the HD's. I have no plans to put a bumper on right now, but hay in the future...what would be the down side of going HD Springs in terms of every day off-road use?

we have the med. springs and no bumper and the ride seems a little stiff not bad but still stiff I would think that with the HD's it would ride a little rough
I spoke with the guys at ARB and they told me that they would NOT put the HD's on a KJ if it did not have at least a bumper ,ARB brand, they said that they were made for a 3.7 with an ARB bumper and a winch wich I dont know how heavy that is but I would guess it is 300# +
they said that going with the med was OK but it would ride better with a bumper and if you have no plans for a bumper and dont do much offroading the light dutys would be fine

I have the HDs and would run them without a ARB hanging out front on another KJ. It is firm but I took a trip to Orlando and back (over 2000 miles) before the bumper and on the road the ride was good. Of course I have always had 4WDs and all had some suspension lift and I like the ride a little firm.
