if I'm sitting at idle everything seems to be smooth and then it will hesitate a little big, not sure is hesitate is the right word, it is a tad rough in the idle and then it will smooth out again and then repeat the cycle.

I changed the plugs and pcv just to see if that did anything, anything else I should try? it doesn't sound like a vacume leak to me, but show know....I can;t really test the coil packs, any suggestions?

Could it be caused by your A/C pump kicking on and off?

The viscous heater will cycle on and off like the a/c, and the a/c is on as long as you have it on the two right settings even if you have it on heat to remove condensation (the defrost postions)

Only us CRD owners are lucky enough to have a viscous heater :)

And yes the AC pump will cycle on in defrost mode and in floor/defrost combo mode. It might even come on in other postions but I dont remember for sure.
