I remember seeing a set of sliders that had round tubing sticking out and up to protect more of the rocker. I though they were made by All J, but I can't figure out who makes them. Anyone got any ideas?

Possibly "Super Skinks" made by Rock Lizard. I also saw a pic of someones custom made rails that where of that design.

Yeah, I thought the tubes went up at like a 45 degree angle... but I could be mistaken.

The JKS supernerfs have the round tube that slants up around 45* (not sure exact degree). They don't work as a step though. They tuck in very close to the body, and if you have an 05+ KJ, you need to remove the entire plastic trim from the rocker.

That would suck on a lifted KJ. I'm already thinking of getting the side bars for my Skinks because the wife and kids are having trouble climbing in, putting that nerf bar on would mae it harder for them I'd think...

Those are pretty sweet.

And, does anyone have any pictures of the JKS bars on a KJ? I'd be interested to see those... the picture on the 4x4rockshop website looks pretty good, but I'd like to see some better pictures.

You may have also seen my custom ones on here at some point.

It's been 4 years now and I still haven't gotten around to drawing up decent plans for you guys, but my hand scribbled ones are on line if anyone really wants to look at them: http://www.ltlowe.ca/liberty/rail_plans.jpg

I really meant to do them up in Visio or something and post them for the fabrication section of this site, but you know the saying about good intentions...

Anyhow, those are the ones I have :-)
