I have a stock 06 libby and going to put on other tires for winter. I have a full set of tj gambler rims, 15x8 with 5.5 backspacing. I was going to buy some stock steels or other steels for winter, but I've had my tj wheels for sale to the piont that I'm getting offer in the sub $150 price range. So instaed of selling I think I'll be using them for winter. Whats the biggest size That wont rub too much? I'm thinking at tires,destinations, scorpions at or ?? no bf's. We usually get snow here, pa mountains but last couple years not much. We travel in very twisty hilly terrain, and its my wifes ride. She needs confident feeling tires.

Before you worry about tire size you should make sure that the rims will fit. Not all 15" rims will clear the brake calipers.

If they do fit then a 245/75 r15" would be a good size to go with.

So did the 15" gamblers fit on the Liberty?

To run those alloy 15" rims you will need to run spacers,I believe 2" or more for the spacer is needed.

You'll need a lift to mount 245/75's on a KJ except for the prelowered '02's.

Tj wheels will not fit with out spacers
once you get them on stock high you may be able to run 235/75 15's
lifted probably 30 X 9.5's
better off running your OE wheels ,bigger tires with less lift
