This has come up before, but as far as I know, nobody here has done it yet. I thought about it for a while too. Maybe someone can photoshop a picture? I'd be interested in seeing a KJ with clearance lights too...

Personally, I would look into the running lights of an H3, the lights on my folks' HD Dodge are massive and would look goofy on the Liberty. As far as wiring, sorry, but I havent a clue, although could you run the wiring similar to how you would do a pair of Hellas, but running the wiring up the pillar, through the headliner, and drill for the lights? Not sure on wattage differences.

Ya know, call me old fashion, but running lights are for "trucks". I just don't think they would look right on a KJ. Just one opinion out of many.

Ok, thanks for the responses guys.. the more I think of it, the less I feel like drilling holes in my roof for lights that really won't help me do anything.. I was thinking it would be cool when I drive in underground garages but since I don't do that on a daily basis maybe I'll skip... again thanks for the feedback...

I've always been fond of those Lund visors with running lights built into them... wonder how that would look on a KJ?!?

I found some led lights that are somewhat similar to the ones on the Hummer, they have them in orange and red lenses. Not too big just about the right size. I am trying to find the website now as I was thinking about putting just 3 together on the rear just to make it look a little different, soon as I find I will post where they are

go to buytruckstuff.com, look under Maxxima lights, then find clearance marker light roof mounted ones I found that I was looking at are 2.625 inches wide, and 3.3125 long. You can get them in red or orange for 9.95 each. Hope that helps some
