This is your one warning. If you procede to to post and read here, you'll be spending and pondering new things for your KJ all the time. Get out while their is still time. I know there is good in you, I can feel it...don't give in to the dark side...

I heard this is related to another disorder, T.I.S. (Truck Inferiority Syndrome). There aren't any known cures. You can relieve the symptoms by buying a new one but it just comes back in a couple of years. It's hopeless so good luck with your Jeep.

Just making sure I'm not the only one, and that dark side thing u talk, I am thinking of once my kj is paid off and where I want it to be might start on a 2 door jk for myself. Should have the bugs out of that thing in a couple years or maybe the dissel but for now the kj has bite me pretty good and once the weather takes a turn it is time to work on it and get mods!! PS there is no turning back if I turned back they might kill me

It never gets any better once you have it , you will always have it! There is no way out. If you are reading this it is already to late for you, your wife and kids may be O.K. but it may get them also! Only known thing to do is buy more Jeep/4WD things, read more posts on here and just enjoy the darkside!!! I have had it for over 25 years through Broncos, CJs, YJs, Wagoneers, Cherokees, and other assorted vehicles, plus two wives so get ready for the ride.

Same here. The KJ is the first Jeep I've owned, and my fiancee even said the other day..."since when did you get so obsessed with Jeeps?" in which case I replied "ever since I got this one!". Yeah, I can pretty much watch new posts pop up on LOST sometimes. I'd say we've all got it pretty bad. Now Jeepjeepster on the other hand, is closing in on four thousand posts. We need to pitch in get him some professional help!!

:P

people are always asking me " when are you going to be satisfied with your jeep?" "when there is no other accessory to be installed"

I hate it when people say im obcessed, especially when i come and pull them out of a mud hole.

I caught the Jeep bug quite a while ago but I just found out that my niece who moved in with us about a year ago has officially been infected. She's 13 yrs old and just made all her screen names "JeepLover"

Ever after buying my 98 TJ and now my 2003 KJ i've officially given up. I'm JEEP for life. I have no wife, no girlfriend and have no desire for one. Whenever i date and take the women out for dinner a movie and whatever else I add the $$ spent in terms of accessories

5 dates: dinner/movies or something else = about $300...thats a pair of SLIDERS!!!!

An engagement ring...that would be a lift and tires!!!!

Flowers sent to her work place...DAMNNNN, could have been a skid plate

there are no sliders for a broken heart! My jeep will never break my heart...except for if she breaks down on the highway.....but dang, she will still look hot sitting there broken down on the side of the road :D

When you think about it, what other company produces stock vehicles to do what you want without many modifications.....if you're looking for a speedster, you can spend 100k on some a porshe or lambo, or 55k on a corvette is as close as you're gonna get. Rice burners...screw them! 4x4's...dodge, ford, jeep....Jeep gives you the best right out of the showroom, change the tires and you can go pretty much anywhere!

Most of all about Jeeps, I love there history, the brands integrity and willingness to stick to the reason for their vehicles, and small line-up (unfortunately which is growning into more grocery getters). When ya buy a Jeep, it like joining a family...so welcome to the Jeep Family!!!

Its a Jeep thing,
Our insurance companies don't understand,
and neither will a women (unless she's a JEEP Girl!!!)

Very well said!

Im still looking for a Jeep girl.. :? Maybe Ill find one someday..

I caught the jeep bug back in 1994 when my parents bought their first Grand Cherokee. We are up to 4 jeeps now and still going.. Its been a good one.

I just got done taking my front end apart to install the rustys front lift. I never stop taking that thing apart.
