I am getting some skink step sliders from Rock Lizard   and I want to put some sort of anti slip on the top. What would I use? Thanks.

Grip tape would be an option. Like what you see on top of skateboards.

marine non-skid tape would work as well, only difference being that it comes in many colors and widths. And you can pick this up at any west marine or other ship store.

Grip tape for a skateboard is a perfect idea easy to put on cheap and grips like hell. Skateboarder for 7 years (broken ankle finished that). Grip tape can take perfect pair of skater shoes and rip them in like 2 months. Grippy as hell.

I have seen some people line-x just the top surface of the bars as well. If you try to line-x the whole bar, when you get on the rocks, likely it will scrape off and is not easily touched up.

yea it can rip up cheap skate shoes but a nice pair of DC, etines, or ES usually last a couple months. Best shoes I had for skating Emerica ed templetons, lasted 5 months. But yea skateboard grip take is killer and would look pretty good on the top of your sliders. If u shop around enough u may even find colour stuff that might match your jeep

I just Herculined my new roof rack and the stuck seems to work great. Since it is paint on, you could just paint the top to keep rocks from eating it while on the trail.
