Does anyone know if the stock bottle jacks will fit in the same location that the stock scissor jacks do? I know that the previous years came with a bottle jack but I believe they started using the scissor jack in 04. Anyway, I finally crushed mine and was wanting the bottle jack. Ive found one on ebay that comes with the new holder and everything, but Im unsure if it fits under the seat and screws into the same hole.

Its only $3 with $15 shipping. Bid ends on the 20th go, so it may go up.

If anyone on here has the stock bottle jack and holder that they would like to sale, that would be great. 8)

Thanks..

Forget the bottle jack, do what I do and keep a hydraulic floor jack in the back of your Jeep at all times! Its a lot faster, and you never know when you need to jack something up really fast.

Haha, thats a great idea, but I dont think I will be needing to compete with nascar.

Anyone bought the bottle jack and its holder and use it in the stock location?

why not just go to an auto parts store and pick up a 2 or 4 ton bottle jack for like $10-$20 and put it under the seat?
I roll the TJ with the OE jack ,never been out, a 2ton bottle jack and a high lift jack
I have only used the highlift though

Well, I had thought about it. If I had someway to mount it I would. I already have a 4ton bottle jack to tell ya the truth. I cannot find the handle that go with it though.. So its kinda pointless. :?

get a piece of pipe the right diameter, thickness and length, then crush one end slightly for the pressure valve screw (or just use a crescent wrench)
