For being stock, this vehicle flex's very nice... I just stopped at a local Jeep dealership to look at the Liberty Renegade..did a uturn into the ditch and had no idea the wheels tucked that well.
Soon i'd love to get the Liberty off road and get some good "real" photos.. but hey, it'll do for now.

Wish list: 2.5 inch lift, bigger tires and more aggressive tires. Custom rock sliders. That's it for now.

Very very nice looking truck you have there. We just bought a Latitude Edition (Renegade's replacement), but I LOVE the look of the Renny...if I was hanging around and not going back to school in a few months, I would consider converting it to look like a Renny actually...I really like the flat hood and bolted fender Flares. But, there's really no reason to do that other than asthetics. Did you buy the truck or just look at it?

I do sometimes. Depends on the type of driver. I never get soccer moms to wave.. Most of the TJ drivers will though. 8)

Neg. I actually didn't know about it until I got my JK the other day...everyone else in wranglers is waving at me and I'm just wavin' back havin a grand ol' time and thinking that it's a wee bit strange. But whatever! I like it! Never been waved to in the KJ though, granted we've only had it a week and a half now, but with only 2 days in the JK, I would have expected something in the KJ by now. Maybe once we lift it and get it really muddy...

Yeah. No one notices the KJ really. In fact, I had someone trying to tell me that their Acura MDX would be better offroad than the KJ (of course, they didnt know they didnt have 4 LO).

Well, according to Consumer Reports, the top three offroad vehicles on the market (in this order) are the Nissan X-Terra, (ready for this one?) The KIA SORRENTO, and the Jeep Liberty. The Wrangler Rubicon managed to get a paultry 13th place  . Just proves that the more you advertise the better you are! At least Petersen's got their facts straight. BTW, Consumer Reports is now being sued by DCX about the rankings...

You'd be much better off in the rough stuff if you bought a Sorrento  ...roflmfao.

Oh, and just for laughs what was the MDX's owner's reasoning for thinking that their LUV would be better?

Did you read the 2007 4x4 of the year in Petersen's 4 wheel and offroad mag, the Sorento actually did quite well, Not saying its as good as a liberty, but it might be??? And Consumer Reports is a stupid, just ask any samurai driver. And I'll take a LUV over a liberty any day for offroad. (chevy of course)

 I love it when people just talk to hear themselves breathe.

I remember a kid trying to convince us that his saturn was turbocharged and the turbocharger was hidden in the airbox.

I just smile and nod.
