I would like to get some wheelspacers for my KJ. Spidertrax is out of stock right now. Any other reputable sources for KJ spacers?

Thanks

Have a machine shop mill you a set. If you have a Les Schwabs in your area they will know who to go to

Probally has something to do with that fact they are the same spacers as the TJ,YJ,CJ,KJ, and others use IIRC.

I just got a pair off Spidertrax from Norhridge 4x4. Took only two days. I think they have them in stock. www.northridge4x4.com.

I was thinking about getting spacers to set my wheels a little wider. I am not lifted yet, and am running the stock 225/75/16s on a 2006 CRD. I was wondering if I would have rubbing issues without a lift, and if wheel lugs would have to be trimmed with a 1" spacer. The dealer where I bought my Liberty had one with 16x8 wheels with 5" backspacing on stock tires. That should have put the wheels 1.25" further out if I figure right. I don't know if they had any rubbing issues, but I would think that they would not have left them on if there was any rubbing. I don't do a lot of off-roading, but do a few days of beach driving each year. I have future lift and wheel and tire plans, but for now I just want a little wider stance. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

If you get wheel spacers, try and get hub centric spacers as opposed to lug centric spacers. Hub centric spaces have a little limp in the center of the hub and that helps correctly balance and center the wheel on spacer a little better. Spidertrax are hub centric.

yes they would rub, i have spidertrax on mine.. and it rubbed at the pinch weld and the front of the inner fender... barely rubbed.. didnt burn through plastic or anything along those lines.. but you could still see it was hitting.

I am considering add some wheel spacers also. There are many types of spidertax spacers. Are these the ones I want if I want to just get the extra spacing and I still want to use my stock wheels?

The link you have posted is for the Spidertrax for 2007s, need for 2002-2006 I think it would be. 5X4.5 not the 5x5

The part # is WHS-002.

You can find a few vendors here:

Northridge 4x4 is the best deal I've found so far (just because shipping is free).
