Cut mine open at 25k miles and got the same result as Ripple. My opinion is that 25k is about right for change. Been draining the filter every oil change (6k) and have yet to find any water. I am going to stop draining the filter and just rely on the water sensor. Instead, I am goint to pull the boost sensor each oil change an clean it - thanks to Ranger1 who posted that little tip.

Ranger 1 deserves the real credit here for this little tip that has had such a big effect on our CRD.

I wonder what the next CRD tip or problem solver will be?
