Got hit by a USPS truck

B**** backed in to my Jeep with her mail truck and took off. Luckily one of my neighbors saw it and called me at work. Ran down to the post office and there going to pay to fix it. The postmaster told me she did the same thing last mouth. Hit a parked car and did not report it. and she still has her Job:roll:

It's not a lot of damage, but it still going to cost about $700 to fix it.

Sucky of that lady, but at least your neighbor was helpful and the post office didn't deny it.

OT- is that a snail?

Don't forget about all that damage to the unibody underneath it. I'm sure you know someone in a body shop that will give you an accurate estimate. After all, since she ran off, she pretty much forfeited any right to contest your estimate.

And I think we need to petition that post office to fire her. What if it was a little kid? Would she have driven off then? At the very least you should file a police report for a hit and run/leaving the scene of an accident because legally that's exactly what happened.

If that doesn't work, I got a mail person hating dog u can borrow! :wink:
