I went to sleepy creek in WV today for the first time. Well to make a long story short, I came away missing a mirror and a fog light and that was only a couple hours of riding. I have no idea how big the place is but I do know that it has the potential to lay down a beating. This is not the place to bring a stock vehicle. We only got to a few trails and one of them was nasty. The rest was not that bad. They have some good hill climbs and some mud. I will post some pics later.

Go to the webshots link for Sleepy Creek!!!!!

Is this a national park? Where in Wv is it exactly? Looks interesting. You should organize us a run down there once it warms up.

I know that it is a park and I was told that it is only open a couple times a year. I may have to run it again before I get a group together to go down there. The map we had pretty much was crap, so it will take a little bit of getting used to. I may try to get a scouting party together and we could discover the area as a group

Give me enough notice to get off work and I'd be willing to go scout out the place with you.

Cool, Jason, Dave I will check the calander and we can try to put something together. Like I said before this will be a scouting party and it will take some time to figure out where we are most of the day (did I mention that the map STINKS). We may need to bring a chain saw to cut some of the fallen trees out of the way also. I will try to get ahold of the map or find out where I can pick up one.

BTW if anyone else wants to join just chime in. This will only be to scout out the area for future more organized runs.
