Nice one Ryan, thanks for clearing this up. Saves me a phone call ;) !!

I know its hard to sometimes come onto a forum during work hours :P!, but try and make sure you keep this forum and its members updated with the progress on the bar and other TJM products for the KJ, as it helps everyone ! 8)

Can someone post or lead me to some pics of exactly what this bumper will look like? I'm mostly concerned with the side profile, or how far it sticks out.

I know I read somewhere where someone said theirs was going to be trimmed back because they were never going to use a winch. Is that true? If so, will the trimmed back version be available? If so, I'm in for one.

Thanks

TJM took great care in not letting the sides stick out too far past the stock flares.

As for the "trimmed back" version for non winch people, that was me. I wanted to get mine back another 60-70mm and that would not only cut into the winch mount area inside the bar, but it would completely render that bar NON winch for the rest of its life so to speak. TJM dont really want to go down that path of having 2 bars as it means too much inventory on the shelf and plenty more R&D time I guess. I'm most likely going to modify mine myself as I have been smacking the front of it in the big rocks - but it holds up fine ! 8) 8)

Thanks

I think the TJM bar looks the best out of all available from the front, but for me it just sticks out too much like the ARB bumper, which I also think looks great from the front.

It will be interesting to see how far (in inches) it does stick out compared to the ARB. It is a great looking bumper and have to admit if I didnt have the ARB I would be seriously looking at it, but with the great deal I got on my ARB I can never get rid of it, just need a REAR bumper. hint hint!

OZLtd can you measure it sometime and let us all know, maybe like from the center of the grill out to the edge or something??

thanks

there will be one for the early model KJ's as well, you just got to keep the pressure on TJM in Aus to get the r&d work a priority

Next time I hook up with the other KJ's, i'll line up the 2 bars and take some pics - if I remember, i'll take a tape measure to it and post.

might be a couple of weeks away though.

Have a question about the bumper. The 2005 liberty renegade has lights in the flares that are part of the front cover, were will they mount in the bar?

I can't wait for this to come out. I think I just found a bumper to run.
