Just like the heading says. I am looking for pictures of KJ's that have been set up and look like they are ready to hit the expediton type trails. I have always liked XJ's set up like that, but since I have a KJ, thats the direction I want to head with it. Roof rack, lights etc. I have a set of Rubi rims and I am hoping to get it lifted here shortly. I am still trying to sell my wife on this whole project so pictures should help. Thanks in advance!

Well mine is no where near ready but this summer it is getting set up for one.

Got an Engel 45 fridge coming with custom mount position where the smaller of the rear seats is located currently. I have a custom jerry can, Hi-Lift jack, axe, shovel mount being built for the tailgate. The spare tire will be moved to the roof. Looking at an Oasis roof top tent for the Jeep as well.

Getting roof lights installed in the Spring along with rearward facing lights installed on the custom rack previously mentioned. Also thought about an awning attached to the driver side of the vehicle to provide shade or cover whenever out traveling.

I'll be having at least 2 Jerry cans with me from Scepter...one gas and another water, each are 5 gallon containers. I currently have a 60" Hi'Lift too. Also thought of making this mount hold a bicycle or 2, but we'll see what happens to the design once I get all the stuff laid out at my school's machine shop.

Nice pictures guys, you are getting the wheels turning. Keep them coming. I love that trailer and that may be an option, but for now I want to try and keep as much as I can on the Jeep its self. Whose roof rack is that?

the rack is custom made by All J and Confer....All J built mounts that screw directly into the stock roof rail mounts, that way the rack sits lower than having one that mounts to the rails..I have seen rail mounted racks get ripped off the Vehicle by trees and stuff...one time someone had the whole rail break off from gettin a little close in the brush...by the way for anyone thats interested..that rack is for sale with the 4 Hellas and the Hi-Lift...for more info PM me...don't post here

I like that bumper as well, does it have a place to mount a winch? What brand is it? I like ARB's but they are just too big for my tastes.

yeah, that LOOKS like the same TJM unit you've had, but I could've sworn it had a raised section in the front (grille-guard-ish) where the lights were mounted previously...

Maybe the web site is having some problems, but the begining of it looks good. I will check back on it later.

KJ TAZ,
That's a factory original bumper. He used a tool to cut away the factory fog light bays.
The winch is attached to a frame and mounted to a front reciever hitch. It also has a quick disconnect power supply.

Very sweet indeed.

Departure angle? Who needs departure angle?

Here's how you put 5lbs on/in a 4lb bag.

KJ Taz, what kind of problems??

My apologies if you ran into difficulty at www.kjexpgroup.com , however, I am not aware of anything being wrong on our site?

Let me know what you experienced and I will attempt to correct it for you.

Thanks

You've guessed right. Its a panel that you can unbolt. I drilled a couple of holes to mount the spotties directly to the bar - spread the spoties out to get a bit more airflow, and it seems to give the KJ that O.E "Renegade" look, as the spotties are where the Renegade ones are factory 8)
