I was looking for a ARB snorkel for my jeep and some bushwaker fender flares. As I'm sure you guys Know for some reason they don't make them for the liberty. My question is can u make them fit, and if so what model do i need too buy? I have a 06 CRD with all the options (painted fenders) but I think the bushwaker finder flares look much better and will put up with the abuse I'm going too put them threw. thanks for any help you could give me or any other options.

A company called Airflow makes snorkels for the KJ out of Australia. Here's some links to where you can contact them and installation instructions. I think that the U.S. version of the KJ has the antenna right in the way of where this snorkel would be installed.

I've also heard that the Toyota Tacoma (05 model if I remember correctly) can be modified to work for KJs.

Hope this helps. :)

It's a jeep thing, my levels of perception are sufficient to ascertain your implication

Hey this is just an information post for you guys.

The snorkle on my KJ 05 CRD is from www.gisonrm.com.au here in Melbourne Australia.

He has a distributor in the States, www.dpgoffroad.com

The Australian Distributor is looking for an East and West coast distributor - dealers, pls feel free to contact Michael at GibsonRM, he is the owner and a top bloke. Works well with people in the field.

The "Brand" of the snorkles' are "Airflow" and have an extensive R&D process.

I LOOOOOOOOUUUUUURVE MINE !!

Oh, and regarding Bushwhacker flares, I've seen the flares up close for an XJ and I think that will a bit of trimming and customising, they'd fit and look HORN !!! If I get my hands on a set cheap i'll have a go !! haha!

In relation to these threads, the Ausjeep one is the most informative and PLS READ PG 3 for the update that I did.
Gison's are in the process of changing the design to replicate mine.

OzLtd...how far have you taken your KJ with that snorkel? Surely you've put it through some extensive testing sessions... :P

Got any pics of you with it in action at a water crossing?

Sounds great...can't wait to see how far you can go.

I'm betting that CRD of yours is very capable with everything you've done to it. It's one sweet rig.

Thanks mate.

coming from 2 modded TJ's over the years, my 'aim' on the side with this KJ was to make it capable enough to hit thre trails with the higly modded 'max flex & locked' XJ's and TJ's ect. It does surprise alot of people, especially on hill climbs.

Once I put in an LSD in the front, it should be near unstopable. 8)
