I am not sure about Rusty's, but I run an OTT spacer lift from Rocky Road Outfitters. It does okay offroad and I have not had any issues with ball joint contact but I am in the process of replacing it because it's noisy when I hit potholes, rides rough on and offroad and does not flex as well as spring lifts that I have seen. Is it worth a couple hundred bucks, I think so. Is it as good as a spring lift, no, but you can still do everything offroad that the spring lifts can do, it's just not as graceful and a lot more bumpy. I hope this helps. Good luck.

Stay away for most people. You will need to tweak the kit with some lower extension bump stops and compression bump stops. Go with the Rocky Road Combo lift if you are in a budget. Works well and doesn't have the problems.

Rusty's is the same as the RRO OTT lift which has caused most people problems. Read here
