Hey everyone,

Sorry for being a stranger as of late...but that's another story.

Anyways, what's the general consensus on running Cragar Soft 8's without the center caps. Anybody like or dislike the look? I'm just wondering if the chrome center caps would break up the black look of the rims too much. Any benefits or negative effects of running the rims without? Any suggestions other than the Cragar center caps?

As always, pics are always a plus and are always appreciated!!!

Thanks a ton everyone!

Keep them off! Chrome is for staying on the street not going offroad,in my opinion at least. Here is a pic off my soft 8's without center caps. The second pic is the rear with my old "D" window crawler rims.

IMO my soft 8's looked a little unfinished without any center caps so I did this :

Eventually black lugs will go on too.

Who wants a big hole in the middle of the rim anyway?

Don't waste your money on them. I just saw, this past trip to El MIrage, a pair get destroyed. Center caps and rocks don't mix. When I got my rims they were included but I sold them on ebay before they got messed up.

My dad said the same thing when I first got them. I guess if you are on alot of rocks that are loose and could be pushed up into the cap, then they would get bent. Something like a rock garden.. :)

Alright, so maybe I'll just run them for a while without the caps and see what I think about them.

Thanks for the input and the pics everyone!
