No not that...anyway, for those people that have removed their spare tire mount and not thrown it away, but have no plans to use it anymore, this is for you. I am in need of the 3 threaded studs that are attached to it. If you could cut/saw/anything to get them off that would be great. Let me know if you can help me out....THANKS!!!

Are you talking about the pressed it lugs that you bolt the spare tire too? You can get wheel lugs at any parts store for about $1, or hit up the hardware store and get some Grade 8 bolts. They are 1/2" by 20 (?) pitch, which are the fine thread, not the 1/2" x 13 pitch (coarse thread). If you use the Grade 8's, you will need to weld them on as they will not be a tight press in fit like a wheel lug. Not sure exactly what you are working on, but I would assume you need to replace your stock lugs on the carrier. Hope that helps.

thanks, that helps...well i am replacing the carrier...but not with another carrier....it's gunna be an all in one jerry can, Hi-Lift, bike holder...Using some scrap parts here at my schools machine shop and some of my own..it's coming together nicely but won't be all done til the end of March probably because of school and work, I only get Mon and Wed to work on it since i'm on campus all day those 2 days...I'll be taking photos along the way too and might get a good CAD drawing of it up for anyone else to follow if they so wish...

O and i am using those studs to hold the Hi-Lift in a horizontal position, so i reckon i'll go with the Grade 8s since I'll be welding already....
