So I am in the market for skids now FINALLY! I was wondering what all the super skid II covers under the jeep. It says on their website that it covers the transmission and part of the engine. So in other words if I went with this would I still need the mopar engine skid to cover the front part of the engine?? I am kinda confused?

Wow I have not listened to Suicidal Tendencies since I was in high school about 15 years ago. Thanx for the memories.

So if I understood this right, you'll need the engine and tansfer case skid along with the AllJ SSII?? I think that is right....looking at a purchase of skids in the near future as well and want to get it right...

The only difference between the stock mopar tranny skid and the AllJ skid is it covers ALOT more and can take hits alot better. Ive got a pic of the AllJ skid around here somewhere.. :)

I believe this is the AllJ skid(not 100% sure). Thats FreeJeep's jeep, I snapped it while we were stopped on the trail. Ive never really looked at that skid. Its amazing that it has a brace that goes over and mounts to the frame. No wonder everyone likes that skid so much. 8)

My Jeep and FreeJeeps Jeeps are different years. The exhaust is different on mine, but Im fairly sure that the Skid from AllJ's would cover all of my exhaust on either side of the tranny.
