I am considering a Lift kit sometime in the near future and would like ~2" more lift. I have been reading about the different options(Rusty's Frankenlift...) I was looking on Rocky-road.com and priced the RRO Combo Lift at $219 and the OME Coils all around come to $264. To me the coil lift seems like it would be better for Offroad performance and ride quality since it is new coils, so it sounds better to me. Anyway I have soem questions:
1. Does anyone have either of these lifts done and can give opinions on it?
2. Do you think OME is better than the RRO spacer combo lift?
3. Also, do I need new shocks and struts with either of these lifts?(seems like I moight w/ both, esp spacer since it is higher)
4. Also, what springs should I get regular, medium or HD? I dont plan on getting a bumper or winch and I don't plan on really doing all that much offroading so I want it to have a good onroad ride. I was thinking maybe the medium springs.
5. Can I fit 245/75R16s w/ the OME lift?

My 2 cents....any coil lift will be better in the long run than a spacer.
OME coils are hard to beat though. They are designed well and hold up for a long time. As far as how much lift goes it seems like everyone gets different amounts esp between medium and heavy duty. I like my heavy duties even before I installed the ARB. Call out to AllJs and talk to them, great people to answer your questions as well as on here. I got my OME coils from them and front Rancho struts and rear Ranchos from Summit Racing. People seem to Like Rustys on here as well except for his rear shocks, but when I was researching to get mine seemed liked some said that the coils lost there height after a while ?? I know all will after many miles

I see that you have 245/70R16s. Do you think 245/75R16s or maybe 255/70R16s would fit?

Yes they would no problem, wish I would of waited but had to get the Goodyears off. Actually bidding on some now (245 75 16s) You will have to do the pinch weld but thats not a problem. Also if you are putting on any kind of a lift its almost a no brainer to replace the struts at that time I think

Yeah makes sense to do the struts and shocks w/ it. Did you use the Rancho RSX 17505 struts and the RSX 17004 shocks? They are the ones listed on All J. Also, do you have any pictures of your jeep w/ the lift on it?
