Don C, Henry, and my buddy from Work made it.

Everything went smooth up until the last thing we did - the motor mount lift.

A bolt head snapped off and we had to do some creative engineering to fix it. As a permanent solution, I will probably have to buy a new frame bracket for the motor mount, have the old one cut off, and weld a new one in, but the fix we did should last for quite a while. Basically we tried to drill out the bolt and the new hole went a little to the side, so we had to use a different bolt than the one supplied. I'd feel more comfortable in the long run if it was back to the way it should be, so new bracket it is. Grade 8 hardware properly tightened will do for the time being though.

We didn't take one picture - I was hoping AndySRT would handle that as he is quite a good photographer, but he couldn't make it.

I will post up a poser shot as soon as I get new tires mounted.

Hey, that looks like the pile we had left over after installing Don's lift.

J/K :D

Sounds like I left just at the right time. Ended up going to my Uncle's shop to get the u-joints and he got motivated and installed them. Got outa there after 8:00 and missed the spaghetti dinner. Life is good

Jebus AndySRT, what did that come out of? That piston looks HUGE.

Is that the piston rod on the top? Why does it look like it has part of the crank on it? Or am I looking at that wrong? :?

that would be out of a 2.0L neon motor. no pieces of the crank in there just what was left of the rod and piston in the oil pan. the crank and block are useless tho. that is the rod that goes threw the piston on the top.
