I watching fox news yesterday and they said DC were recalling 04-06 jeep liberty's and durango's due to a possible over heating problem. Has anyone else heard of this one, or what it intales?

I caught part, but only part of a news story about it. Something about a wire overheating I think.

I also heard they're recalling all 06-07 Libertys, presumably for ball joint problems

Here's a little more info that came off the KJ Country forum.

http://jeepkj.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6741

Looks like it's the potential fire problem for KJ's and not the balljoints.

As long as they've had the ball joint problem, would think that the 06's and 07's wouldn't need them replaced. That should of been done at the factory by now.
