In 2003, they added the Auxiliary Transmission Oil Cooler part, yet still listed the radiator w/ integrated cooler part until 2004. I wonder if you could get the integrated and auxiliary cooler together from 2003-2004....

Sorry I was wrong, they deleted the tranny cooler in the radiator in the '05's and above.Looked at the part books for the years and they list 2 radiators till '04 for autos(1 with the cooler,1 w/out for manual trans) and only 1 for '05 and '06(same pt# as the '02-'04 manual trans).I still confused, can't they just keeped the same stuff the same way for every year!
I'll find out tonight,I'll take pics of a '04 with towing package(hd cooling) and post pics.

My 2006 has a tranny cooler in front of the radiator. My Liberty does not have ethe off-road or towing package. I was told the tranny cooler was standard equipment on Libertys after the facelift, and that all the "Heavy Duty Cooling" package bought you was a second radiator fan and bigger shroud.

My 2003 sport 4x4 has not the aux transmission cooler, it was getting hot going up to mountain only. Since the Trans-Temp turned on I assumed it was a problem with the transmission and because it still has warranty I take it to the dealership and they said its not part of the transmission, anyway they are going to install an auxiliary radiator, they already ordered but it will take long like two weeks, after they install it I’ll post a pic.

Of course they are going to charge me the cost, well they are going to charge me the cost of the standard transmission unit (something like $100 + installation USD) less a discount because they made a mistake changing the standard transmission cooler (tranny cooler) by other same size, same part number (so stupid), the aux transmission unit cost is like 2k+installation USD here in Mexico).

Regards
