The Mopar remote start works with the Sentry Key system. The aftermarket remote starts may not.

do you think that this would work? http://www.amazon.com/Remote-Start/dp/B000GKLY7W/sr=1-100/qid=1168842803/ref=sr_1_100/002-7955693-2610436?ie=UTF8&s=automotive

That looks like the right thing but it's just the module kit (82208859AB - $100):

Quote:
Module Kit contains the base electronics module for under-dash mounting and a complete fuse kit.

You also need to order the installation kit (82208998AE - $200):

Quote:
Installation kit includes harness, long-range antenna, key transponder interface, software cartridge, hood tilt switch, two mini one-button keyfobs, install and operating instructions and hardware.

The part numbers listed above are for the 2005 Liberty. Check out the Mopar Parts site for more info:

You could go to your local circuit city and get one.

It'll be roughtly the same price including installation with a lifetime warrenty on the installation for the life that you own the vehicle.

I'd personally reccomend going with a 2-way system by python.

Look into the Python 571xp

I've got the Viper w/ remote start. I like the security, and the 2 way that lets me know if & where someone has either hit or broken into my car. I'd suggest the Viper.

would this work? http://www.amazon.com/BDRS82-Entry-Level-Remote-Starter/dp/B000E432EI/sr=1-40/qid=1170910329/ref=sr_1_40/105-7232462-3070843?ie=UTF8&s=automotive ?
I was wondering i the horn and lights option is worth it??
Also, sense i already have keyless entry with my responder key, would there be a purpose in having the keyless option with the remote start?
