In another thread, Kniggit introduced me to an interesting product I had not seen before. I thought it deserved its own thread.

The have this Green diamond compound they use in some tires that I thought was interesting.
Take a look, tell us what you think. Anyone give these a try or know someone who has?

Wow...$85 for mudders. I just got new BFG M/Ts or I'd give these a shot.

I hope someone tries them out and lets us know how they work out.

Thats why I mentioned this website, I need to buy some tires before next winter (I know long time away right) for my work truck, and some day the CRD, so I thought that I'd ask around, I trust your opinions, well most of you at least  . I just wanted to find out if any of you had any experience with this company or not, our Dump Truck has had some retread tires on the rear axle for a few years and only a couple thousand miles on them but they look to be ok, and are not losing their tread at this point. Anyways, I has seen them in 4 wheel and off-road mag a few years back and always wondered.

Thanks

K

one thing to check, which I didn't see is a weight difference. I work for a mass transit agency and we can't use retreads because there is a significant weight difference. I'm not saying it holds true for this company but its atleast worth asking about. Other than that less us know how it works out, I'm hooked

"We liken owning a set of High-Tec tires to getting into Disney Land on half price day. You're not too upset if you don't get on every ride, but it's a bonus if you get on all the roller coasters - and we got on all the roller coasters. While sidewalls change based on carcass availablity, we were extremely surprised at how much performance we mustered out of a dirt cheap set of MTs. The medium sizes lugs were quite soft and supple so performance in the rocks was good. Street noice was moderate to low, and mud and sand performance was dead middle of the pack. They proved to be an all-around good performing tire that were fun to run." JP Magazine, April 2007
