The time has come to go off-roading at Barnwell mountain in Gilmer Tx next week. Once again i'll be flat towing my wrangler using the CRD. Towed like a charm last time. It felt like I was towing a pop-up camper.

I won't do any off-roading with the CRD, as it has no skid plates yet.

Last trip I got 16 mpg dragging the wrangler at 65 mph...not bad..the crd had only 4000 miles on it then..now it's got 15000.

Wish us luck!

I was happy with 16mpg...driving the wrangler on the highway gets me 14mpg...so 16 towing it is amazing!
