this is the one im looking at http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/9500LB-5-5HP-4KW-ATV-Truck-SUV-Winch-w-Roller-Fairlead_W0QQitemZ180103444633QQihZ008QQcategoryZ43984QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

this is the one that has me skeptical http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/12V-15000LB-Winch-4-SUV-Car-Truck-Trailer-W-Remote-Rare_W0QQitemZ180103066889QQcategoryZ43984QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Get a Warn Tabor winch if your looking for a cheaper winch that is a quality winch and will last, those cheap junk winches probally will work once then die.Heck I would use a MileMarker winch before anyone of those you listed.http://www.autoanything.com/winches/69A2203A0A0.aspx

If u notice it says it has a 15000lb. rolling pulling capacity, and a 5,000 max pulling capacity, which probably would have a tough time pulling out a stuck kj. I'd leave that one on the boat trailer.
also look at the gauge of that wire, its way too small, compare it to the first picture.

gotta love ebay

From my understanding: Rolling capacity is for something that is NOT stuck, I.E., the vehicle is in a parking lot.

Marine capacity, is for pulling your boat up a trailer.

PULLING capacity, I THINK is for pulling dead weight.

In ANY case, you want something with twice the rated capacity as your vehicle weight.
PLUS, you should NEVER attach the winch to a hitch ball - It would turn the hitch ball into a CANNON ball, and be JUST AS DEADLY.

IMHO, DONT go for the cheaper winch - Go with a name brand. Milemarker, Ramsey, Warn, etc.

Take a look at THIS post - it might be worth a hundred more to go for the Summit winch.

The Harbor Freight 8000 will get 'er done for about $300. A copy of an old Ramsey design from lookin at it. Have some in the area that have been in use for many years. Slower than the Warns and others but they pull well.

Has anyone heard of Bulldog winches? Price looks OK and it is series wound, not permanent magnet.
