So...here's a good oddball question for you guys.
I occasionally have the habit of coasting into my parking spot in neutral in my 07 auto (e.g. pulling into a spot, I'll slow down, put the jeep into Neutral, and stop in the space).
Once in a while, when I put it into neutral, I get a single chime "ding" that sounds identical to the seatbelt/key chime. I push the shifter without pushing the button, so I know i'm not overshifting into Reverse or anything (unless my cable is misaligned, but the jeep is indeed in Neutral and not engaging any gear).
What would cause this? No indicators come on or anything to that nature. Just a single lone "ding."
On a somewhat related note, I drive w/the parking lights and fogs on in the day. Today I came home, made sure the windows were up, opened the drivers door, turned the lights off, and turned the jeep out and pulled the key (turned off and pulled key in one fluid motion with no pause). The jeep dinged 3-5 times (a couple seconds) after the key was out of the ignition AND I was partially out of the vehicle. Lights were definitely off. The jeep stopped dinging after a second or two. It was just acting like it was running a second or two behind of what I did.

I then, confused, put the key back in, turned it on, let the seatbelt chime go off, turned it off and pulled the key quickly again and it acted perfectly normal.
Whats up with these issues? Random bugs in the computers or what?
