Someone here had a pic of a Hi-Lift in not a bag but a plastic case made for it. Sort of like the ones people mount rifles on ATVs in. So far I haven't been able to find it. ANy ideas?

Something nice I saw the other day: a Land Rover Discovery had it's high lift attached to the spare tire mount (basically through the hub). I know our rear doors are crappy, but it would be kinda nice just ot have it in back.

Don't store it under the rear seat if you plan of folding them down... It interferes as does just about anything else.

Later,

I can pick it up at Harbor Freight and save about $22 in shipping.

Clint only drives on pavement and "dirt roads". Didn't you know that?

I wouldn't mail order one of these jacks. I can't believe the online discount could make up for the shipping charges. I got mine from a Farm and Fleet (Fleet Farm in some areas).

The Central Machinery one looks fine. If you can find the comp specs on the Hi-Lilft, should give you a better idea of its capability.

Thanks for the heads up. I haven't tried to fold the rear seat in quite some time.

[quote="AdamIsAdam"]But I never thought of that fact that I could get stuck and not be able to open doors! What are the odds?quote]

That's what I thought about 2 flat tires until I sliced the front sidewalls at the same time  and once I was hung up on a boulder and couldn't open the driver side doors but I was wheelin with some good folk and stay seated while they hooked me up :D

Later

Troy,

I don't see why not. However, before you do you may want to look at sportmans warehouse down in murray. I read somewhere someone pickup a hi-lift for $50.

If not, there is a farm store somewhere in so. jordan, IGA i think.. that may carry them too.

Either way you'll be saving $$$. :D

I got a hi-lift today from Farm and Fleet for $41.99.

Fits in the back of my 2004 fine; took off the top piece.

Now i've just gotta figure out what the stupid vents are back there that I think cracked.

vxla, the vents aren't plumbed to anything. They just allow the space behind the rear panel to breathe.
