if I am going to add some hockey pucks as rear bump stops, how long of a bolt do I need? I think a 3/8" bolt will work I just want to know what length to pick up at the store without guessing

How thick is a hockey puck? :?

I would imagine you coule add about an inch to that and end up w/ the right length. I also think a 5/16" bolt would be plenty to just hold a puck in the rear.

Yes, but there is enough clearance under the spring pad where you would be mounting the puck that if you go 1/2-1" longer than the puck it should be fine.

Hockey pucks are about an inch thick. So 1 1/2 - 2" would work as there is lots of room under the bump stop and I added a thick washer as well.

Make sure that you use the right drill size for a 3/8" tap. It should be written on the side.
