Does the CRD KJ have a PTO output?

I have a CRD, and it does not have a PTO shaft. I don't know of any that do either.

On another note, will the BackBone support a High-Lift jack (i.e. using a High-Lift to jack up the front of vehicle with the BackBone as the jack point)?

As with our other BackBone models, it's intended to take your standard electric winch, with a 4.5"x10" foot print.....
that foot print covers 90% of the winches out there.......Hydro? Send me some specs on what you're looking at.

Can you Hi-Lift off the BackBone?

Image

Just as shown, you'd use 1 shackle.....I would Hi-Lift off a set of sliders before I Hi-Lifted off 'any front
or rear bumper.....for obvious safety reasons.
But then again, you never know your fate at the end of a trail ride and repairs required along the way.....the
BackBone is there to Hi-Lift from if you need it, yes.

The Ep-9000 should be installed by Friday, the past holiday messed up the shipping.

And I just picked up a front hitch.... This is exactly what I would want (without replacing the front bumper).

You can get the winch up and out of the way and leave it mounted without loosing approach angle.

I would be very interested in a GROUP BUY. :)

how does it mount???? i love the set up.. I wish i would have seen this earlier. i had to make some brackets with shackles. so i could use my brushguard and still have locations to tow from.. your setup is much simplier.... i love it.

Hitches and baskets are very limited......it's only been recent that email requests for the BackBone have come
my way followed by a local owner willing to hand over her rig for 1-2 weeks for development......developing a
product is where I get my biggest kick.

This product is to be made from 3/8" & 5/16" inch stock, after conversing with our lasar people and making sure
they can work with our prints, sheet stock should be arriving at their place the 11th, we'll be doing a semi limited
test run of the parts, if everything works out as planned, working parts will be in production from there out....Web
developer has time on his hands & is ready and willing to create the new page......I have alot of writing to get to.... :(

I'll still be doing a more informative thread in the Venders area, time's pretty darn tight right now.....plenty of pic's
and such to come!!

That soon, huh? I'd love to be one of the owners of those first production run models. I'd even be willing to send you pics and tracings of my '05 bumper after cutting holes to make one of these fit. I just hope the mounting points aren't any different. Doubt it but, it's a possibility, I suppose.

That soon? If everything works out, but still...it wont be tommorrow..lol.

I've been attempting to get info on the front crossmembers of the different years since the Liberty's been out,
not having much luck....if anyone out there works at a body shop or a dealer, can you offer any info? We may
have to restrict the years which this product is available until I can confirm that the crossmember part number
is the same.

Mark,

The crossmember and unibody rails are the same from 02-07 in my experience so far, but with the 05-07 models, the grill has more of a lean to it, so the top area of the crossmember is covered about 1" more by the bottom of the grill. I bet that sounds confusing, but give me a call if you have any questions and I will try to explain more in detail: 719-360-7414.
I don't think there will be any problems with your setup for all years, depending how close the current one pictured comes to the grill. If the setup stops atleast 1.25" from the grill on that red KJ, there shouldn't be any interferance with the 05-07.

Well there's some good news! 8)
Thankyou much, and I follow you 100%......no changes required other than bumper skin trimming template.
I'm still seaking out & referancing some part numbers from Mopar, but this news helps..
I may give you a buzz just to talk shop if I get a minute, thanks again..

Now that is great!!!! where else can you find two guys, from detours and rock lizard, sharing info to make stuff for the Libertys. None of this, I know something but not going to share because of whatever the reason. Keep going guys with the fab work, from what I have seen and read you both make some great high quality products!
